Where Restoration Meets Passion | Paul Davis Cape Breton

Born and raised in western Cape Breton, Laura Langille’s connection to the Island runs deep and it is no surprise she made her way back. Laura moved to Halifax to pursue her post-secondary studies at Dalhousie University, before making her way to Alberta where she first began her career in the building restoration field. When she returned to Nova Scotia, Laura joined Paul Davis as a Senior Project Manager in Halifax. Her journey brought her back home to Cape Breton where she now owns and operates Paul Davis Cape Breton, servicing the entire island alongside her sister Leeanne Langille.

Paul Davis thrives in the realm of building restoration, primarily through referrals from insurance providers who trust their expertise in handling post-damage scenarios. Specializing in restoring homes and businesses to their former glory after disasters, Paul Davis has earned a reputation as a reliable and efficient partner for insurance companies and their clients alike. Their commitment to quality craftsmanship ensures that each restoration project is completed with precision and care, reassuring insurers and property owners that their buildings are in capable hands. This trust has positioned Paul Davis as a cornerstone in the industry, delivering peace of mind amidst the chaos of unforeseen property damage.

Paul Davis’ efforts were pivotal in the aftermath of the two recent natural disasters that impacted our community, the 2024 snowstorms and Hurricane Fiona, assisting the many homes and businesses that needed damage repaired. This is not the only way Paul Davis has helped Cape Breton. The prominence of Paul Davis throughout Cape Breton reflects Laura and Leeanne’s strong emphasis on giving back to the community, including sponsoring the PJ Walk for Kids, the Cape Breton West minor hockey team, Alpine Snowmobile Club, Centre 200, local volleyball teams, Two Rivers Wildlife Park, Ski Ben Eoin, local areas, local festivals, local food banks, and many individual athletes.

Giving back to Cape Breton extends beyond sponsoring local events and charities, it also includes hiring local talent. Laura is excited about the opening of the new NSCC Waterfront Campus, “This development promises a larger pool of local tradespeople, providing Paul Davis with opportunities to hire and contribute further to the community,” she says.

Laura’s story demonstrates her strong connection to Cape Breton Island and her drive for community support and excellence in a professional capacity. Her leadership of Paul Davis guarantees the best building restoration services and also enriches our local community through Paul Davis’ active involvement and support.
