“Part of the Chamber’s mission is to cultivate positivity within the Business Community of the CBRM. I think this is one of the things we do very well at the Chamber. These businesses were nominated by their peers, and judged by a panel of business and organization leaders who can attest, firsthand to the work and creativity it takes to be an entrepreneur. We, and the judging committee were impressed and inspired by all of the good work being done in our community, it was truly an inspiring exercise to go through each of the nominations.” says Jenna Lahey, CEO of the Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Our community continues to grow, but not just grow, change and become more diverse in it’s business offerings, it’s a really exciting time to be in Cape Breton. We hope each and every one of this year’s nominees feel appreciated and valued for the significant contributions they are making to the community. We are very excited to celebrate all of them on October 21st.” says Lahey.

The awards gala will take place during Small Business Week on the evening of Friday, October 21st, 2022, with a reception at 6 p.m. and the dinner & gala beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre. Tickets are on sale today!
