Description:
We are seeking an organized and motivated Office Assistant to provide essential administrative support during our busiest months. The Office Assistant will assist with day-to-day office operations, event preparation, marketing and communications. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general office duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Provide administrative support to team members, such as preparing documents and marketing materials.
  • Assist with planning and executing events, including event promotion, attendee registration, and on-site support.
  • Greet and assist visitors, members, and stakeholders professionally.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program (Business, Communications, or related fields preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with digital tools like Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • $15.70 per hour
  • 35 hours per week
  • 8-week term funded by Canada Summer Jobs
