Fundraising Mandate:
The Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce, operating as the Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce, is a non-profit, non-partisan, member-driven organization registered under the Boards of Trade Act (BOTA), administered by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
The purpose of our fundraising activities is to advance the Chamber’s mandate to support and enhance the economic development and business climate of our region. Funds raised are allocated to the delivery of strategic programs, events, services, and advocacy initiatives that promote a competitive, collaborative, and resilient business community.
All revenues generated through fundraising are used exclusively to support the Chamber’s operations and initiatives in accordance with our organizational objectives and governance requirements.
House Rules:
(a) The draw(s) will be held on February 13, 2026 at 12PM AST at the Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce office, 50 Dorchester Street, Sydney, NS, B1P 5Z1. The lottery is licensed to the Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce (o/a Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce).
(b) Players of this lottery must reside in Nova Scotia, be 19 years of age or older, and must use a major credit card or debit card to purchase. Credit cards used for payment must have a Nova Scotia billing address.
(c) The draw will take place using the approved & certified Rafflify Random Number Generator (RNG). The winner will be contacted by phone or email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize. A second draw from the same numbers will occur after 90 days if the draw goes unclaimed.
(d) There are no restrictions regarding the purchase of tickets by members of any sponsoring organization or their families.
(e) There is no minimum number of tickets that must be sold.
(f) Only 1 winning ticket number will be produced for draw(s).
(g) The winning ticket owner will receive:$2500 cash Two round-trip economy tickets for travel within North America or Sun Destination on Air Canada’s flights, valid for travel on Air Canada. (h) Absolutely no refunds after the draw has been completed.
